For the Economic Empowerment and Income Generation of Women Self Help Groups, MIET continuously and successfully doing programmes.

• To impart education skill development training to women so they become aware of their rights, duties and responsibilities
• To impart income generation skill training to women members of SHGs so they can become capable of running small industries and gain success
• To develop communication and leadership among women
• To establish forums of different level to raise women’s issues at different levels
• To strive for betterment of livelihood of poor and backward class women so their lives may improve
• To form new self-help groups and establish their identity
