Zero Waste Village Campaign inaugurated in collaboration with MIET
The Zero Waste Village Campaign was inaugurated in collaboration with Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology at Collectorate Auditorium, Baghpat. The programme was inaugurated jointly by Chief Guest DM Baghpat Rajkamal Yadav (IAS), Special Guest CDO Baghpat ML Vyas, Dr. Shikha Dhawan, Program Coordinator Dr. Swapan Suman and Ms. Paridhi Agarwal (Volunteer). During this time, detailed discussions were held on making the village zero waste in collaboration with MIET by joining the National Rural Livelihood Mission.
During this, Mr. Hanish explained employment opportunities from the cannabis plant.
Dr. Rajendra Singh asked all the farmers to make maximum use and promote organic farming.
Ms. Vandana Yadav explained in detail about mushroom farming.
Mr. Rehan Ahmed, Manager, MIET Incubation Forum, gave detailed information on how to further his employment through various schemes run by the government.
Mr. Ambuj Saxena and Dr. Ankur Goyal explained in detail about the marketing of their product to the self-help group.
Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan told about the various schemes being run by the Farmer Producer Organization.
Dr. Madhuri Gupta told about women entrepreneurship.
Dr. Swapan Suman gave information about biogas and its production.
Exceptional work done by Ms. Paridhi Agarwal during this event bringing all stakeholders on same plateform.
